Navy SSR / MR INET 01/2025 Eligibility Criteria
SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit):
- Educational Qualification: Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from an educational board recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 2005 to 31 Jul 2008 (both dates inclusive)
MR (Matric Recruit):
- Educational Qualification: Qualified in Matriculation Examination (10th) from an educational board recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

The selection process for Navy SSR / MR INET 01/2025 will consist of the following stages:
- Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET): Computer-based online examination

Important Points about INET Exam:
- The examination will be of 60 minutes duration
- Each question carries 1 mark
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer
- The medium of examination will be English and Hindi

Navy SSR / MR INET 01/2025 Training Details
Selected candidates will undergo training at INS Chilka, Odisha for a period of:
- SSR: 22 weeks basic training
- MR: 20 weeks basic training
During training, candidates will be provided with the following:
- Stipend of ₹14,600/- per month during the training period
- Free food, accommodation, uniforms, books, and study material
- Medical facilities for self
- Travel expenses for the initial journey from home to INS Chilka

Navy SSR / MR INET 01/2025 Salary & Benefits
After successful completion of training, candidates will be enrolled as:
- SSR: Sailor Grade-II with a basic pay of ₹21,700/- (Pay Level 3)
- MR: Sailor Grade-IV with a basic pay of ₹18,000/- (Pay Level 1)
In addition to the basic pay, sailors will be eligible for the following allowances:
