Educational Qualification
For Professor:
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience in a university/college/institution, with at least 5 years at the Associate Professor level
- A minimum of 10 research publications in UGC-CARE listed journals
- A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS)
For Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in a university/college/institution, with at least 3 years at the Assistant Professor level (Pay Level 12)
- A minimum of 7 research publications in UGC-CARE listed journals
- A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS)
For Assistant Professor:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
- NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2018
- A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled candidates
