Educational Qualification
- For Engineering Disciplines: B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university/institute

Selection Process
The selection process for ISRO Scientist/Engineer-‘SC’ consists of the following stages:
Stage 1: Written Test
A computer-based written test will be conducted at selected centers across India. The written test will be of objective type with multiple-choice questions, covering the following:
- Part A: General Awareness, General English, Reasoning & Mental Ability, Numerical Aptitude & Data Interpretation, General Science
- Part B: Technical knowledge in the relevant discipline (80% weightage)
Stage 2: Interview
Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for an interview. The interview will evaluate candidate’s technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, aptitude, and overall suitability for ISRO.
Final selection will be based on the combined performance in both the written test and interview. The weightage will be 75% for written test and 25% for interview.
