The selection process for NTPC Recruitment 2025 will consist of the following stages:
For Engineering Graduate Trainee:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): The test will consist of two sections:
- General Aptitude: It will include questions on Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language.
- Technical Knowledge: It will include questions on the relevant engineering discipline.
- Group Discussion: Candidates shortlisted after CBT will be called for Group Discussion.
- Personal Interview: Final stage of selection process to assess the candidate’s technical knowledge, personality, and suitability for the job.
For Diploma Trainee:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): The test will consist of two sections:
- General Aptitude: It will include questions on Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language.
- Technical Knowledge: It will include questions on the relevant diploma discipline.
- Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted after CBT will be called for Personal Interview.
Note: The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of all the stages. Weightage: CBT (70%), Group Discussion (10%), and Personal Interview (20%) for Engineering Graduate Trainee. For Diploma Trainee, the weightage will be CBT (80%) and Personal Interview (20%).
