IIT Roorkee will administer the GATE 2025 examination through a Computer-Based Test format. The institute has scheduled the release of admit cards for January 3, 2025, while the examination will take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

Downloading Your Admit Card
To successfully retrieve your hall ticket, please complete the following process:
- Access the official GATE 2025 website
- Navigate to the GOAPS Portal login section
- Input your Enrollment ID/Email ID along with your Password
- Select the “Download Admit Card” option and save the document as a PDF
- Ensure you print a physical copy for examination day
Critical Instructions for Examination Day
Candidates must adhere to several important guidelines when appearing for the examination. First, everyone needs to bring a printed copy of their admit card to the venue. Additionally, a valid photo identification document such as an Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN, Voter ID, or College ID is mandatory for verification purposes.
Furthermore, all test-takers should arrive at the designated center at least 60 minutes before the scheduled examination time. The examination authorities will enforce COVID-19 guidelines and other protocols that require strict compliance. Please note that electronic devices, calculators, and study materials are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
